Kids and juniors develop riding safety and can enjoy tons of fun in the saddle when they have the confidence to experiment on their mountain bike. That is why we hold an open training afternoon on our riding technique training course for kids and juniors aged from 10 to 16 every Wednesday during the holidays.

The Gasko Basic Course for MTB Riding Technique for Kids & Juniors is perfect for beginner mountain bikers aged between 10 and 16 years old. Kids and juniors receive their first training in riding technique under the expert guidance of our Bike Guides and will certainly be left wanting more. Adult supervision is a prerequisite for taking part in the practice afternoon. 
It goes without saying that there are plenty of tips on proper MTB equipment, entry into riding technique training and all kinds of preparation for really making the most of the first tours on the bike.

Our Level 1 Gasko Basic Course is perfect for mountain bikers who are comfortable riding in the mountains of South Tirol, enjoying the natural beauty in its entirety. Gravel, ledges, inclines and corners must be approached with the right gear, skilful braking technique and the proper pedal position.

Mountain biking in South Tirol is a great way to enjoy nature if you have the proper riding technique. In the Gasko Course for technical MTB riding - Level 1, we place a real emphasis on the following key points:
Bike control, measurement
Info for adjusting the brakes, saddle and pedal position
Poise & balance
Uphill/downhill weight placement
Correct braking and gear shift
Uphill standing and starting
Riding downhill
Cornering technique (turning, corners on gravel, slight hairpin bend)
